fiancé takes phone with him everywhere

i’ve never went through my fiancés phone during our relationship. but i’ve started to notice that he takes it with him everywhere… in the bathroom when he showers, if he’s in the kitchen cooking, when he gets out to pump gas, even when he’s going to pee he puts in his pocket. pretty much he will not leave it unattended near me. is this suspicious? what would you do?

I think it could be suspicious if there are other signs. I take my phone everywhere. I don't even know why. Just habit at this point. But I'm not secretive with my phone and my husband and I know each others passwords. We don't go through each other's phones but wouldn't care if the other picked ours up to do something.

My husband does the same thing 🤷🏼‍♀️ he watches YouTube constantly though

It is suspicious , i would leave my phone in the bedroom and go into a room hes in sit down and after a while, say can i use your phone to google something, see is reaction, dont make it into a big thing, but his reaction will let your gut know.

I don't think it's malicious. Most people do this, but communication is key. Voice your concerns. Make sure you aren't caught lacking when he asks to check yours, tho.

Some experience more guardedness about boundaries. But if it’s even a thought that bothers you one, he should be able to toss over the phone and let you scan it over. You can always mention his possessiveness, secrecy with it, or so forth.
