blow outs

What diapers have you had success with no blowouts?? My baby is breastfed and she poops at least 3 times a day and like we constantly have to change her clothes. We’ve tried huggies and pampers. Are cloth diapers better at all??

We're a Huggies house, as soon as we start having blow outs regularly we try the next size up and the issue resolves its self.

Sounds like you need to size up! That’s the most common reason for often blowouts. Pampers have been awesome for us, and my BF be poopin!! All i can say is DO NOT EVER BUY HELLO BELLO! lol. They SUCK

might need to size up. huggies little swaddlers is our go to. i do not like pampers we also had blowouts regardless of size. i haven’t tried them yet but millie moon seems to be a really amazing brand

@Polly But she is only 4 months and we are size 2s right now i dont think she need to be in 3s yet. She 13lbs

@Lauren But she is only 4 months and we are size 2s right now i dont think she need to be in 3s yet. She 13lbs

@Kaliyah But she is only 4 months and we are size 2s right now i dont think she need to be in 3s yet. She 13lbs I typically love pamper swaddler i used them with my first child but he wasn’t breastfed. This breastfed poop is something different 😂😂😭

I use Huggies little snugglers ! My son is 4 months and in a size 2. Idk I just never have blowouts with those. Pampers were horrible for me .

I love Millie moon. Blowouts have been extremely rare with them and happened more when we had pampers

Coterie! Expensive but soooo worth it. My step kids were in diapers way too long and they didn’t even blow them out

Honest diapers for sure. Also make sure the diapers aren’t too small cause that causes blow outs too.

Millie moon has worked for us. Got rid of her diaper rash too.

Sized up

Huggies snug and dry or little smugglers

@Breonna thats what im using right now 😭

I use pampers pure and hardly have blowouts. I also do this thing before putting the diaper on where I kind or fold the diaper almost inside out then put it on her like that. It kind of helps the elastic part fit around her little rolls

I'd size up! My baby would always have blow outs until we sized up. We use the Kirkland brand and it works for her and us. Huggies gave her a rash and Pampers didn't fit her curves and would blow out no matter what. And I always make sure the elastic part is fully around the booty!

My baby is 4 months weighing 16lbs-also breastfed and just started taking purées-and what has helped so far is sizing up. I also alternate between cloth diapers during the day using bamboo liners to layer just so that I don’t clean up too much mess when he poops. Since last year December, he started wearing size 3 diapers. I prefer the honest brand but we got the Huggies little snugglers in size 3 as present since he was 2 months. So far, both diapers have worked perfectly for us.

Coterie

@JNyahIs the blowout a normal diaper or does it have mucus? My baby used to have lots of blowouts and it seemed it was me eating dairy that made it worse. Now I’ve been 4 weeks dairy free and blowouts are not happening or rarely. We have tried all kinds of diapers (coterie, Huggies, Kirkland, honest) and it was still happening.

My baby was breastfed and constantly pooped and had blowouts! I found out that shes lactose intolerant and I had to go dairy free! I saw the big difference in her stool texture! The stool shouldn’t be very “watery” more pasty look. If you breastfeed and your baby seems to poop or have these blowouts right after feeding. It’s not always dairy, it could be coffee, or eggs. Etc. It also helped showing my pediatrician a picture of her stool, and she verified it was my diet that was affecting the baby!

I love huggies little movers(they are curved so they aren't too snug around the thigh) my 4 month old is in size 4 almost 5. Every baby is different so size up when you need to

I sized up on nappies and if she doesn't poo all day it and does one later she definitely leaks and I have no idea how to top it

Is 4 months supposed to be in size 2? My son is 16lbs and wearing size 1s they still fit him pretty well and when he poops we don’t ever have blowouts with Huggies or Kirkland brand I also bought him cloth diapers since I have a ton of the hybrid cloth diaper sticky disposables and I like them

@Molli my son was having red marks and like marks that something was too tight basically is when I switched him to size 2 , and he was getting a lot of diaper rashes

@Shazia I switched mine out of newborns when the Velcro was getting close to his hips and it had the check mark and x for if the diaper fit or not still so that’s how I knew to move him up but with his ones I haven’t seen marks and I can still strap him in close to the middle I guess he just is on the smaller side in his waist line

@Molli my son uses size 3 already and he's also 4 months weighting 16lbs.

Huggies snug and dry, but specifically the one from Costco that say plus

@Judi weird I went to his pediatrician this last Tuesday and he never said anything about it but maybe I’ll ask him about it next time and make sure I’m using the right size then

Nora’s Nursery washable! I love them. Rarely ever experience a blowout or leakage. Plus no chemicals on their private parts 🙌🏽
