Just ring them and they'll be happy to advise you, depending on how far away you live. My waters did not go with my two births so you don't need to wait for that.
No harm in ringing them but personally I'd be waiting until getting regular contractions, but also be mindful not to wait for your waters to break as this can happen super late or not at all anyway! Id start timing them and try to get comfortable! Trust yourself to know when you're ready to go in, with both my boys the contractions weren't where they'd have classed as regular or long enough but I was 5cm and then 6cm with my 2nd when going in anyway 😂 xx
I lost my mucous plug on a Friday after contractions slowly starting the day before. I didn’t lose my water til Monday morning at 2AM. I was 7cm when I showed up at the hospital. I phoned checking in often (irritating the doctor on call) and she told me to come in when my contractions got closer together but they never did. I went once my water broke. I had meconium too and luckily my little guy didn’t need the NICU. Good luck! 🍀
I lost my mucus plug and woke up to blood on my due date and that evening my waters broke, then I called triage. Hope everything goes well! X
I had reduced movement on the day I lost my plug and so went in for monitoring.. but they weren't interested in me having lost my plug. Just told me to monitor contractions and wait at home as long as possible. It was 4 days later that my waters broke and I went to the hospital an hour later and was already 7cm. My contractions weren't super regular but I must have already been in established labour.
I say to call in to get checked, you could be going into slow labour. I’m pregnant with my 2nd & with my first, my water didn’t break, just started to get cramp pains. I got into hospital and I was already 5cm deliated
