Hey my son is 3 and also does the “choking” I notice he does it more often when he’s extra or “over stimulated” but in those times I usually just let give him space to calm down I remove my body so he can’t access it which he typically gets even more mad at first but over time has realized that won’t be tolerated

Does he only do it to you as my son only does it to me only no one esle

So he has slowed down or stopped doing it ?

My son is almost 3 years old, level 3, non-verbal. He also has physical tendencies that are aggressive, though it is clear to me that it doesn't come from the intention of causing harm. He'll often grab my hair or neck out of excitement or when he's communicating something to me. I immediately remind him of the term "gentle hands" while redirecting his body position.

My daughter is three and I’m in the same boat. She’s always Hitting, biting, headbutting me in the face, pulling hair, and kicking every single day. I will try to put space between us and step back so she doesn’t think it’s acceptable and she will start head banging the floor or wall or hitting herself or pulling her hair out.

Thank you guys so much for your comments super greatful
