Spitting food out/blowing raspberry

Hi mums, I’m quite lost, for the past 4 days, my 8 mo been spitting his food out during his meal/doing blowing raspberry whenever he eats now. We thought he doesn’t like the food so we gave him food that we know he likes but still the same. The only thing he doesn’t do this to is one of those ella’s kitchen snacks/finger food snacks or the organix one. We stopped giving this to him now since he’s not even eating his food. Anything similar happened to you? Should I power through and continue giving him solid even though he will spit everything out? Or stopping his solid for couple of days and try again?

It's a normal phase, my son still does this but eats his food. Continue offering solids

It's normal but you should keep offering solids him. It's just a stage they go through

I would continue as above has said. My daughter did the same thing and sometimes does that still! Especially with water. She is a lot better at drinking properly but can get silly with it and spits it out finds it funny ect

My little girl does this every time she’s teething! We’re currently cutting tooth 7 and it’s all she’s done with her bottles, any spoon fed food and water for the last 2 days. She’s 9 months. Just keep going and don’t make a big thing out of it, and accept a few days of everyone and everything being covered in more food than normal 🫣 xx

He’s 8 months, food is just for fun right now and milk is the primary source of nutrition. Do not push eating food, it’s just for play and if he seems interested. Milk is still primary until 12 months, there is absolutely no rush!
