You can get fybogel from the pharmacy/ supermarket. You can also get lactulose prescribed by the gp. Most other relief liquids will not be recommended. I got my GP to pop them onto a repeat prescription so I could just go and get them when I ran out. Also got rennies and liquid indigestion stuff, and omeprazole as my sickness/ nausea was so bad further down the line. Obviously also make sure you’re drinking plenty and getting plenty of fibre in your diet. I suffered chronically throughout
Dried apricots, good source of potassium also.
@Louise ooh I’m forgot about these and I’ve got some in the cupboard thank you!!
@Dani @Kelly is it only certain laxatives you can take? I am just past transfer, have some senekot in the cupboard but scared to take it as not sure if it’s only certain types
Yes you should only take the gentlest ones. You can google what you’ve got and see whether it’s indicated for pregnancy use x
Fibrogel is the only one I know of you can take during pregnancy off the shelf.. and Lactulose is from the GP (a stronger one but pregnancy safe) Both very gentle, although I prefer Lactulose purely because its reminds me of calpol 😂🤭 xx
Fybogel and bran flakes! X
Lactilose from GP and eat Kiwis 🥝.. A lady on here said this to me and it literally saved my life I won't lie 💖🙏🏻
