@Brooke my boy is 12 weeks and I think in the last 2-3 weeks he has just suddenly gone off it?! They say the ingredients haven’t changed but surely something has because I’ve read so many comments x
My friends wee one is still taking bottles but being soooo sick afterwards & screaming as though she is in pain 😒 x
@Brooke oh I’m so sorry 😭 I’ve just gone out and bought hipp organic and he’s just had his first bottle of it and funnily enough he’s taken the whole thing x
What did Kendamil change? Sorry I think I missed something and I’m curious.
@Lara well they couldn’t deal with demand so they’ve now had to move factories or open another one across seas to deal with demand. Where it was solely produced in the UK before it isn’t anymore and different machinery is used so the texture and colouring is different. I’m pretty sure they’ve changed other stuff too as I’ve seen so many comments about babies now not wanting it or struggling with sick and bad pops x
My Lo is also struggling. He’s soooo constipated to the point I’m having to give him laxatives twice daily and he’s spitting up more than usual. He’s not himself. There is a slight difference in quantity of 2 ingredients (not that they’ve advised this) I can’t remember off the top of my head The new factory uses a different drying process I weighed my scoop with powder and it came back at 5 grams instead of 4.3 grams and kendamil’s response was “they have all been tested and within acceptable tolerance” blah blah blah. For me it worked out to be an extra scoops worth of powder every feed. Unacceptable in my opinion I have changed formula
@Rosie noooo way?! never knew that re the scoops! so I’ve technically been giving an extra scoop more than the advised per ml? So 6 scoops for 150ml instead of 5? I’ve literally gone and bought hipp organic today and he’s had 1 bottle of it so far and taken all of it! might just be coincidence but let’s see for the next one!
The new tubs were always clumping in the bottle aswell which it never used to do. They’ve basically fobbed me off. I do think you should email them a complaint as it seems like they aren’t taking anyone’s complaint seriously One girl complained and they said “all of our feedback has been about how much better and creamier it is” Bullshit
@Lauren Roberts based on other posts that are going around it seems like I’m not the only one who has noticed this too. Pretty much yeah🫣they tried to tell me it was the way I was scooping it and pressing to hard to pack powder in. I do it one handed and apply no pressure so if anything it should be under not over. Trying to blame me for their fuck up😂 Oh that’s amazing! Yeah my lo is defo doing better now I’ve changed too, it’s just a shame x
@Rosie it is a shame because my little girl was on Kendamil until she was 1 and absolutely thrived on it so that’s why I went with it again! Never mind; as long as our babies are gaining weight and are settled and happy that’s all that matters! What idiots eh, I’ve seen so many comments on it too! X
@Lauren Roberts exactly that! Hopefully he continues to drink his milk and feels better soon🥺 Seems like they’ve prioritised quantity over quality. Never mind😂x
@Lauren Roberts Thanks for the explanation! You can’t get Kendamil in Belgium so we would just buy it when we went to visit my in-laws in 🇬🇧 In Belgium we’d buy HiPP. My LO’s on cow’s milk now but good to know for the next one that I can’t rely on Kendamil anymore. Sad!
@Lara it is sad as it used to be so good! I’ve just moved to HIPP today and so far so good!!
Just switch to a different brand

My friend has changed to cow and gate and after 1 bottle noticed a massive difference x
@Indi as said above I have
The regular one is known to have problems causing gas likely to the whole milk… I heard switching to the goat is much better
Sorry to jump on this post but would you recommend not bothering with kendamil now then? We used aptamil organic with my first but they don’t sell it anymore so was going to use kendamil this time if we did decide / need to use formula, but I’m wondering if we should just go for a different brand now?
@Courtney I think it more effects babies that were on the old Kendamil and have had no choice but to switch to the changed one. If you’re starting your baby off on the new one and they know no difference I’d say it’s fine!
@Lauren Roberts ah okay perfect thank you! Hope you find one that works for you & your little one! X
My friend is having bother with her LG who has been on kendamill since birth (around 10 weeks) x
