If your breast feeding bathe in ur milk and rub one direction my girl had this x
@Jennifer he had gooey eyes at this age too and I would bath it with the cooked boiled water but it’s now just in the one and a bit worried x
Hey, my little girl had this problem and most of the time it was only one eye, but then it became both and then one again. It would sometimes range from clear goo to sometimes a pale green or once it was vibrant. She would rub it too I think as the eyelid would go pinky red and I noticed this after a nap. I did panic and go to the doctors where they told me it wasn’t infected and can be normal because of the ducts still developing. It got worse so I thought the doctor was ‘wrong’ but after swiping gently with sterile water and fresh cotton wool on each eye every time the goo appeared, it just disappeared after a number of weeks. ☺️
Just to add, my baby didn’t have a cold so bear that in mind maybe. As I’m not sure if yours could be linked to the cold. Hope you get it sorted. ☺️
My lo used to have sticky gooey eyes when she was 4 weeks old. We used cotton balls to wipe it with breast milk and boiled water (once cooled down). That seemed to help. She had no redness though so maybe keep an eye on that
