Hello, So my great nan has recently passed away and I would like to incorporate something in relation to her with my baby's name. We are looking for boy and girl names. We do not know the gender of our baby. Her name is Thelma Beryl and she had a love of owls and orchids. Any suggestions or ideas?

Sorry for your loss 💔 I Absolutely love Thelma! What about elm for a boy (my boys middle name is oak, so I like a tree name lol) or Elma/ Elba for a girl? if you didn’t want to use the full name Thelma. Beryl is actually gender neutral too, I’ve worked with a man named Beryl xx

Thea Orchid for a girl. Theres an Orchid called Maxillaria so maybe u could use Max for a boy. Maybe Bertie for a boy using the "ber" bit of Beryl. Themis is a girls name which also means interpreter of gods will which ties in with the meaning of Thelma which means "will" or "volition"
