Preemies

When did your preemie start crawling and walking? My LO just turned 1 this month and she’s not quite crawling or pulling herself up yet. Starting to feel like I’m doing something wrong she was born 33+6

My oldest was born the day before her due date and she never crawled. She only butt scooted. And only started fully walking at close to 18 months. And my second was born at 33+2 and will be 6 months on 2/1 and he only just started to roll from back to stomach

Sorry I can’t help with your question but was wondering when did your preemie start banging toys together and sitting unaided? My baby came at 33+3 and she’s not doing either of these yet x

LB born at 28 weeks crawled at 9 months actual and walked at 17 months actual. Sat independently at 1 year actual. So that would be corrected age of 6 months, 14 months and 9 months. Just remember she still isn't technically 1 she's 10 months. Not all babies crawl others just roll or butt scoot, she has plenty of time for walking it's an 18 month milestone which will be up to when she's 20 months.

My little boy is 1 actual today, born 34 weeks. He's started trying to crawl and isn't far off and is starting to show signs of trying to pull up onto things. He started army crawling properly about a week or so ago

My 30 weeker has been crawling since 9.5 months actual. He is 11 months as of the 23rd and has been pulling to stand and walking while holding onto things. Every baby develops at a different rate, technically 10 months adjusted so I would give her a couple more months before reaching out to a professional.

@sarah 9 months for sitting up unassisted and 10 months for banging toys together.

@L 💜 THANK YOU! Started feeling discouraged but this gave me perspective so thank you!

@Cathryn I've been there TRUST ME. I was awful for it. Why isn't he doing this/that. Others his age are. Especially when I input his birthdate on here it moved my groups so I was seeing babies that were actually his birth age doing certain things where is was still sleeping all day because he was technically still a newborn. But then I started looking at the preemie groups and it made sense. But you're a parent and of course you're going to worry it's in us all.

@Cathryn thank you! This has given me some reassurance x
