PP hair lost

Please tell me I'm not the only mummy going through this. The past month, I've been losing my hair by the chunks. Every time I wash it, it comes away chunks, and I'm so worried I will end up with bald patches. My little girl is nearly 4 months old, and I don't remember losing this much hair with my 1st born nearly 16 years ago. I wash my hair once or twice A week, I have my hair up in a loose mum bun due to baby girl grabbing it. I haven't put any heat on my hair in months, and I only brush my hair once a day. Is there anything I can use to stop this happening. Thank you

Completely normal happening to me and im 4months pp xxx

Let alone when it’s dry and I brush it x

I’m the same. It’s ridiculous! It did happen to me with my first, it did get a lot thinner but not bald.

I'm going through the same. I'm 4 months pp and it started a week and a half ago. Does anyone know how long it lasts?

In the same boat! I just started using viviscal at my hair dressers rec. but I think it just has to run its course

Completely normal , it hit me when I was 3/4 months pp .. finally it’s growing back … give it time x

@Sofia depends sometimes months , mine personally was 2 months x

I’m also really struggling with this 😭😭😭I cry every time I have a shower because so much comes out!! I’ve started using UKHAIR serum and I have noticed it looks like it’s growing back and I’ve been taking morninga too. Mine is really bad around my ears, it looks awful if I scrape it back so I’ve been trying to wear styles that hide it while it grows back 😢 I have also noticed that if I use a thickening shampoo it gives the illusion of having more hair, which helps a lot!!

Yep mine started at 3 month pp. Feel like I'm going to be bold at the rate it's falling.

@Anabella thank you, how many months pp are you now?

@Sofia coming into my 5th x

I have it happening now and my daughter is 2.5. It could be stress related sometimes. I had a mild form of Alopecia in the past but small bald pots but then I go to the Dermatologist and they give me a steroid shot and cream and then it took a few months to heal. I will have to make another appointment
