Formula quantity
My almost 8 month old has finally taken a bit better to weaning and is having 2-3 meals per day (sometimes not much at a time but others a fair amount).
However he is still taking around 34 oz formula a day. Some days he has up to 38oz. He still has a feed around 9pm then around 3am. Occasionally I can get him to skip the 3am but most days he will scream until I feed him so he clearly wants it.
He is a big baby, on the 95th percentile for height and weight and has always had a bigger than average appetite however I kind of expected the quantity to drop when weaning and it just hasn’t 🤯
Does anyone else’s LO take a huge amount of formula alongside food / when did your LO’s quantity reduce?

@Ffion same here, we’ve been on 6-7 6oz bottles and actually about to up them to 7oz bottles rather than decrease 😂 here’s hoping the amount of bottles drop with it x
Mines having 4 7 ounce bottles a day and 3 meals and doesnt wake up for milk anymore it reduced about 2 months ago she's been on 3 meals since 6ish months as she was just constantly hungry lol (she's a big girl) I think just keep offering until they no longer want it babies won't eat if not hungry x
Its weird my daughter was having 5 7oz bottles when i started weaning her she dropped her 5th bottle but now shes in sleep regression so shes decided to take the 5th bottle again
