C section question?

I had a c section last Friday, and the dressing is off, but I still have some strips left, which they said will fall off. Do I just shower normal and leave for them to come off? Can I use soap? i currently only use sanex anyway, so nothing strong. I keep thinking it's all infected or something will go wrong as I can't even see it anyway haha
