Bottles

8 month old has dropped to 2x9oz bottles and 3 meals a day. The morning bottle she will only have about 5-6oz but then drains the bedtime one. She will have weetabix in the morning, lunch will be light so maybe some yoghurt and fruit and some stuff she can hold on to like wafers/puffs and then dinner will be either a full 7+ pouch or if I've prepped food it'll be like a pasta type situation. Is this about right solid wise for her to start not being interested in milk? I feel like it's a bit early for her to be having 2 bottles

I was told by multiple health visitors 2 bottles is fine at this age and to add in calcium snacks throughout the day to replace them. I would suggest her lunch should be bigger though if she’s only having 2 bottles x

@Elena what would you offer for lunch? X

I offer so many different things tbh.. Cheese on toast Chickpea and red pepper hash browns Jacket potato with any filling Tuna pasta Pasta with sauce Homemade soups Spaghetti hoops on toast Hummus and pitta bread Snacky lunch of cheese ham fruit yoghurt baby crisps etc

@Elena my girl is mostly puree fed/spoon fed. I could definitely do the jacket with cheese for her. I might try her with that tomorrow. X
