Usually $15-25. Usually buy something we use and love ourselves.
I think $30 is a good price. Kids get slot of gift already anyway on bday parties
To be honest it really is a subjective thing which I’m sure you know depending on financial situation but also a few more things for me personally like - how close I am to that kid’s parent and what history we have between us in exchanged gifts be it between us or the kids etc. But I reckon 30 is a very good middle ground and if you’re doing it a few times a year it really does get a lot! Something I do which some may disagree with: I get a lot of unwanted gifts for my son - and I guess I will for my daughter too soon. So I put aside anything I don’t need or love and leave the tags etc on and if you’re going to forget who gifted you it then maybe make a note somewhere. Then I hold on to these new things for a year or so and gift them onwards as needed and then if I haven’t needed them in about a year I donate / sell depending on item, value and the time I want to invest in this! To be honest I’ve done it with gifts for the house and myself and husband too :)
£20 at the most I would spend
$20-$50 I get something they need and then something they enjoy. Usual what they need is the more pricey one. I like to get things that won’t last long for something that they like because I know that they will lose interest in the gift after a while.
$15-20 is reasonable.
I usually spend 15-25, and I’ll shop at Ross/TJmax, Burlington’s for gifts
My husband and I do $15-20 per person for their birthday in our immediate families (including our nephews).
$20-30 for friends and $50 for family. I go looking for sales and even go on Facebook marketplace and eBay to see if anyone is selling something for half its original price and still new.
I probably spend $20-$30 at the most. But I do try to keep an eye on clearance toys throughout the year and stockpile them. Same with other gift items. Target gets some great things on clearance and sale.
