When you get approved for food stamps do they automatically send you a card after ?
I got an alert and the app shows I got approved but doesn’t say if they’re mailing the card or anything. I called and set for them to call me but didn’t receive call back

They never mailed me my card. I had to go in person to get a temporary and then they had to re-submit the request for a card to be sent to me. It was really annoying 😑

They never answer the phones so your best bet is to go and just let them know you never got a card. The office for me was on schemerhorn street to get the card printed out but idk if that's still where you gotta go. They keep changing the offices.
If you have a medicaid card, then you can use it and also have an EBT card, or you can get a downtown Brooklyn.

Keep the phone close because they call after hours sometimes. It will go on the card with your photo on it. If you had medicaid or something, you should have the card already.
