Any tips or tricks how to get your 13 month old to take calpol or nurofen if they refuse to take it the normal way?

You could try and put it in the teat of an empty bottle and get him to drink it that way? I used to do this with my son. X

I put ours in a bottle with some milk after talking to a HV :)

My son is 3 and is a nightmare at taking any meds. We mix it in his milk or juice

My son hates taking it from the syringe but if I measure it in syringe and put it on a teaspoon he'll take it from there until it's gone. I find it's better to give it before they get cranky and wanna fight you, especially if it's for teething.

We started letting our little one play with the syringe and then occasionally put water in it to get her used to stuff coming out it that she recognised. Took a while but she grew to like drinking from the syringe and unless she's really upset she'll meds in it no bother

My 17 month old likes to hold the syringe herself and then puts it in her mouth, she then let's me push it and realises how yummy she thinks it is so let's me carry on x

We use a medicine spoon, the syringe was a no go for us xx

My girls currently will take medicine/ brush their teeth if I pretend to give it to one of their teddies 🤣 worth a try x
