For those who have potty trained

Give me all your tips! Hoping to start this weekend. Have done lazy EC and he seems ready but I'm nervous about accidents in public or in bed (we bed share). Do you still use pull ups when out and about or at night? Thanks I'm advance

We're not potty training yet but my friend has (her sons a bit older) and she uses pull ups at night just for damage control but he's gotten so good during the day that he will wake up and pull them down himself to go to the toilet in the night. He's basically treating a pull up like pants but if an accident does happen it's okay x

Mine is potty trained now, but I was told that staying dry overnight is a hormonal thing that you can’t really train and just have to wait until it happens naturally so I wouldn’t worry about overnight

My girl is potty trained. For the first week we used pull ups only at night but after the first week I just wake her up in the night to wee. After a couple of weeks she started to wake up during the night by herself. We just have the carry potty for when out and about and she initially felt uncomfortable in public toilets but now she’s happy to use public toilets if she needs to go. When out and about I’m more at alert of her toilet cues to avoid accidents, no accidents in public so far 🤞🏾 x

I started taking her to toilet every hour or so keeping her nappy free in the day and using nappy only in the night. Continued this for a week or two. There were few accidents but that’s part of training for her to get aware of when she wets her pants. Now she tells if she wants to go, sometimes I take her on my own and sometimes there are accidents. But she stays dry all night now and I rush her to the toilet first thing in the morning. I put nappy on when we are heading out. And it’s working.
