You can but with these mam bottles the milk powder gets all stuck in the ring at the bottom I found! 😩 those Tommee tippee pots are great though! X
I wouldn’t personally do this, the sterile bottle is being contaminated by potential bacteria in the formula and also when you add the water it won’t be the correct amount because of the volume of formula in there beforehand. Those little pots are really useful to make up before hand ^^ :)
@Sammy when the hot water is added will this not kill the bacteria in the powder though? The prep machine ensures it’s the right amount of water for the powder ratio xx
I tried doing this but the formula all stuck in the condensation from the bottles being sterilised. It literally takes 5 seconds to put the scoops in fresh so I wouldn’t say it’s much of a time saver anyway but I know I you feel like any tiny bit of time saved when they’re crying is a win!
I find the pots are far easier to use, as you can pre-measure out and not run the risk of bacteria/sticky bottoms! I attempted to measure out the powder at 2am once and somehow got more powder on the kitchen counter than in the bottle, would not recommend when half asleep 😅😂
I’ve been doing this and have been wondering the same thing. X
With the prep and mam bottles what I do is do the hot shot in empty bottle, put the formula in (I use the tommee tippee pots) then rolll and swirl it to incorporate it all then put it back under for the rest of the water and it’s done :) xxx
Technically can't really see why not but if there is even the slightest bit of moisture it will clump then not dissolve properly
I’m not sure tbh🤷🏼♀️ I wouldn’t do it purely because I don’t know the answer in all honesty 🤣🙈 xx
I’d be worried incase it became congealed then harder to mix once hotshot was added. These are a helpful alternative x🙂 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tommee-Tippee-Closer-Formula-Dispensers/dp/B004IM8PDU/ref=asc_df_B004IM8PDU?mcid=d8026262b42e3c27b1dbd989df12cb37&tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=696352643970&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5771766844749829091&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1007202&hvtargid=pla-405660806368&psc=1&gad_source=1
