This is hard 😭
My highly sensitive almost two year old has full blown melt downs when week old baby cries. I had a c section and trying to calm him and keep him from banging his head on the ground is so so hard. I feel so bad and hopeless when it happens. Most of the time he’s okay with baby, didn’t like him at first but warming up.
I wasn’t able to breastfeed my first but have been successful with my newborn. My toddler doesn’t understand and I feel is a little jealous.
I just hope this gets easier and they love each other.

I felt the same way as you do right now but it gets easier week by week, you have to find your new routine with two. The best present you can give to your first born is a sibling, always remember that. And take one day at the time, don’t plan ahead 💕

We had the same when baby was born my son was 23 months. It will stop eventually, it’s just all new to him, very big step for the wee soul. My baby is 3 months old now and my toddler doesn’t even wake up when baby cries. He needs time to adjust.
