Cervix check

When you're pregnant? It was weekly around week 37 or 38 to see how far you're dialated. After the baby is born, there's a 6 week post partum follow up

My cervix was never checked (which was fine by me!) and I went into labour at 38 weeks. As for after delivery, I was again, never checked. I really feel like we need better postpartum care for mothers.

I had mine checked because I had a significant amount of bleeding at 39 weeks, so we needed to check everything out. Then a couple checks during labour to see how things were progressing and determine when to start pushing.
