How to help my baby like getting out the bath more

I wondered if anyone has any advice or has had anything similar. My baby is super happy getting in the bath, pretty chilled (not crying or fussing but not giggling) in the bath, and then the second we take him out and into a towel he screams and screams, it’s the worst cry i have ever heard him do. We have tried heating /not heating his towel, changing him immediately, skin to skin, offering a feed, taking him to a different room and it just seems to be getting worse each time!

My baby is the same 😩 haven’t found a solution yet, hopefully someone will give some suggestions

I give my baby a little bit of milk before her bath and then as soon as I take her out, I quickly put on a nappy, swaddle her in her towel and give her more milk. That seems to do the trick

I get her out wrap her in the towel, put dummy in her mouth and then as soon as I get to the bedroom I pat her down with the towel and put her in her fluffy dressing gown and she instantly calms down! X

@Nicole it’s so horrible it makes me not want to bath him🫠

@Mel oh we have a dressing gown, we’ve just not used it, i will try that!!

@Serena he refuses the boob because he’s so upset, but i will try doing it instantly!

It's the change in temperature. Mine is the same. It does not matter how quick you are, there's always gping to be a change

We do a feed beforehand so she’s full and more chilled, we ensure the room is very warm (we use a baby bath in the living room as bathroom is too cold) and then we ensure the towel is really warm, partner picks her up whilst I hold the towel and she goes straight into it and I wrap her up like a burrito. It’s the exposure to the cold that they hate so much :( x

@Carla we do all of this and the second he’s in a towel he still screams ☹️☹️
