@Adriana she stay home with me
@Kaitlyn is she showing any signs like taking off her diaper or telling you when she goes in her diaper?
Same here girl! My 2 and a half year old is soooo ready for it she tells me every time she has a dirty or wet nappies and says âmum I do weeâ But holy moly I donât know where to start. (Aussie here and summer is nearly finish which I feel like is the best time to toilet train because they are always out in the water and in swimmer anyways)
âOh Crap Potty Trainingâ is a great resource! A quick read and super helpful!
@Adriana there are time where she will take her diaper off and say pee or will say pee and have a diaper on and go to the bathroom door
Following
@Kaitlyn sheâs ready then be very verbal with her about going to the potty and take her every 20/30 minutes and when she goes praise her so she knows itâs good to go in the toilet you can stay with diapers or do pull-ups or some people go straight into underwear or even naked while they potty train thatâs what I did with my first I made her a little basket with underwear a book about going potty and stuff to get her excited itâll take time and consistency but sheâll get the hang of it try not to get upset with accidents they will happen
If sheâs not vocalizing sheâs ready with words id say hold off on toilet training. I am a daycare and teach 2 year olds and we are trained to promote âpotty positivityâ. If kids arenât ready we wonât force them to potty train, but if they are telling us they want to go, pulling their own pants down, pointing to the potty and saying potty then we sit them. Being able to say they need to potty or that they would like to go is huge, if they arenât talking Iâd wait
How we potty trained our kids is when they would go to the bathroom we would give them m&ms

Is she home with you or does she go to daycare or someone takes care of her?
