Avent or Dr Brown

Which bottle would you prefer? I feel like at the starting level Dr Browns might be too fast. I'm going to try to breastfeed.

dr browns has different nipple sizes ! when i ordered on amazon they came with both preemie and lvl1 nipples!

Avent is shaped like a breast and suggested for people who want to breastfeed from what I was told. I had Dr. browns on my registry and my friends told me to change to Avent and I’m glad I did, they are great

All babies are different and latch differently, my last baby breastfed since day 1, but sometimes I would pump and use Advent Bottles for the first weeks. After 1 month, I exclusively breastfed and at 6 months tried to wean with the same bottle but different nipple size and she hated it, cried and couldn’t latch. I tried other brands until I bought Dr. Brown glass, and she immediately latched onto that one.

With avent bottles you could switch the nipples to lansinoh nipples which makes them more adaptable for your baby!!

This is my first so I’m not quite sure but I’ve read it’s good to get one of a couple of different brands and see what your baby likes before buying a bunch of one certain brand.

Avent

I preferred advent with my first baby
