Tuition Free Pre-K

Hello! Does anyone know if any tuition-free programs for Pre-K or curriculum I can follow for homeschooling? I am a FTM and my child just turned three! So far she knows how to count, shapes, animals, letters and sounds of the letters and she can talk pretty well although she has difficulties for certain letters. So far her day starts consist of some potty training, then she does 30 mins of phonics lessons from an app called hooked on phonics then we read her books before nap and bed time and the rest of the day, she just plays with her toys, Any book recommendations? I want to build her library even more too. Thank you!

Hey!! Just started some at home learning with my oldest who is three also 😊 As a 4th grade teacher formerly, my mind immediately goes to curriculums, but apparently littles don’t really need one? A lot of sources say to encourage enriching environments and use a general sense of “what do I want my child to learn” do guide you. That said books I’ve loved so far: - Building a Classical Curriculum by Laura Berquist - 100 Easy Lessons (to learn to read) - Random Preschool math workbook from Amazon - Animal Life Cycles (and if you’re Christian) - Child’s book of Bible stories - Daily scripture memorization, we’ve been doing a verse a month bc my homeschool vibe so far is verrrrry loose lol Lots of Montessori blocks and puzzles and counting play with an abacus. If you want a more structured curriculum to purchase, I have heard great things of the ones sold from “Mother of Divine Grace”. It just seemed a bit too much for us at this stage. They’re more of a Christian curriculum though fyi!

Get a library card! Read all of the early readers. Buy the ones she's loves and doesn't want to give back to the library. The Cat in the Hat Learning Library is a preschool curriculum unto itself. It is great for learning to read and has a lot of great subject areas for vocabulary and background knowledge. My daughter also loved Rainbow Fairies after she could read a bit. They have early readers to start, and transition into early chapter books (with pictures and without). She also loved Dr Kitty Cat, which I liked and thought has good medical background info.
