Question for any nurses

What would you genuinely appreciate as a thank you gift? My 3 month old has been in hospital with Covid and the staff have been wonderful. We’re going home today but need to come back tomorrow for some more medication. I wanted to bring a little something for the staff and thought of the classic box of chocolates or biscuits but I’m open to suggestions of things you would really appreciate and enjoy 😊

We always love treats! But also grateful for badges, pens, hand sanitisers, pocket notebooks, keychains etc. it’s difficult to ensure you cover everyone though, so treats tends to be the way to go But honestly we appreciate anything, thank you for thinking of buying the nurses a gift Sorry to hear your baby has been poorly!x

Biscuits and sweets always go down well. We once had a ringtons hamper and fruit basket in my ward, both of which were appreciated 🙂 But any gift is really nice for the staff to receive.

Thank you! My husband will go out to get some nice treats later and I’ve ordered a couple of packs of my favourite floating glittery pens 😍

I got mine big boxes of celebrations and cookies, they were all so happy about it bless them. But I’ve had one midwife that literally went ABOVE and beyond for me, so for her I got her a bath & body set from Rituals and flowers cos she was a godsend to me.
