Freebies/cheap things

Hi all, It’s my first month of being on smp this month 😩🥲 and I just thought about things I’m doing to try keep things cheap/free. Thought maybe people could comment things that they have found which are free or cheap. So other mums could see/use it during their smp/maternity leave. 🥰 - Bounce and rhyme (check your library for day and time) - M&S free cake (with purchase of drink) Tuesday - 9.30am - 11.30 - Health visitor drop in (baby hubs) (check with your local group) - Funky warehouse - free until 12 months old -Waitrose club member - free coffee

Take your red book to the library for your free books, sensory cards and bag. Join the boots parenting club, get free avenno and MAM bottles, load offers on your boots card and get more boots for £ for baby products. Look at homestart in your area for free sensory classes and rhymetime. Babycinos are free at Starbucks and Costa. Build a bear gives you a birthday bear for the price of your kids age (so £1 on their 1st birthday, £2 on their 2nd).

This is such a good idea! The only thing I have done so far is join Ella’s kitchen for their weaning guide and you get money off vouchers for anyone planning on using pouches. Also I buy so much off vinted rather than buying new and that’s saved me a fortune. Selling on vinted is good too

I am not on SMP however I’ve always loved saving where I can, so some suggestions I have I will list. App - Too good to go: supermarkets and other businesses sell bags of items for cheap, you don’t get to decide what’s in the bags. App - Olio Vinted is great for buying bundles of items and or selling to recoup some of your money back. Freecycle is a great site, to find things for free only have to arrange collection yourself, can specify areas to search. Meal planning also a great way to save and freeze leftovers for another day.
