Hsg

Has anyone had an hsg done? I have mine this coming Wednesday and am very nervous about the pain and results. I also hope it helps with fertility because I've heard of it increasing it by 30 percent.

I read online that women get pregnant after this test, it’s hard not to get your hopes up, I hope so though 😵‍💫😂.

What is hsg?

It is a procedure where they go into your cervix and this tube pushes a dye into your uterus and fallopian tube's then is x rayed. To check if there's any blockages in your tube's.

I will say Google explained it a lot better. That's just in my own words

How did it go?

It was 5 minutes maybe even faster. My tube's are all clear. I felt a big cramp and then so much pressure 😪 it felt terrible but breathing through the mouth makes it bearable

Not trying to scare anyone. No cramps afterwards, which I thought I definitely would have.

I was ready a lot of people's experiences getting it done and it really seems like everyone has a different reaction to it

I’ve been through child birth twice so the pain can’t be worse than that, I’m sure I’ll be fine. But good news with the clear tubes 👍

Yes. I've read others say it hurts worse when your tube's are blocked. But I think it's just the person that is doing the procedure and every one's body is different
