Grunting baby
My baby groans and grunts so much. Shes formula fed and she’s good and bringing up her wind and passing wind.
She does struggle to poop sometimes, she poops maybe once a day or every other day which I’ve been told is normal for a 5 weeks old as she’s learning to use her muscles etc. she makes noise throughout the day but really grunts when laid on her back so it makes bedtime hard but I’m also worried the formula she’s on is too strong for her.
Anyone have this? When does it get better? Do you think it could be the formula?

My LO is 5 weeks and is very grunty, but he's on breast milk only. The health visitor and midwife both said it's normal for babies to be squeaky and grunting.
My 9 week old is also very grunty, sounding like she still needs winding 1hr after her feed, I pick her up and she just falls straight asleep with no wind! Babies are loud :(

Hi, my little girl is 7 weeks old and exactly the same as you described. I think at this age it’s normal for the poops to reduce, she is also down to once a day usually. We worried she was struggling to poop so we moved her to the aptamil comfort formula although I can’t see much of a difference so far! Think it might just be a normal stage of development x
