If you have had sutures, I think wait the 4-6 weeks, ensure proper healing has taken place. But again it’s completely your choice.
I had stitches during labour too and I had sex again 8 weeks pp. At 2 weeks I was still in a lot of pain and thought I would never feel comfortable to have sex again, it’s amazing how quickly your body heals. But take it at your own pace, you’ll know when you’re ready🫶🏼
I was defo mentally ready after 2 weeks but waited 8 because I was soooo scared I hadn’t healed fully. Don’t forget it’s a great big open wound that you can’t see, better to wait a little just in case
Take it slowly, and do other things except for penetrative sex to build up. You also might want to consider using lube especially if breastfeeding as the hormones can make everything dry and sore down there. I’d definitely wait 6-8 weeks (or longer) until you have full sex. Also you are more fertile in the year after having a baby so just take precautions ☺️ ultimately your body has been through so much it’s bound to feel a bit different initially but it does go back to normal eventually.

It’s recommended to wait until at least your 6 weeks check up due to the healing wound inside your uterus and risk of infection.
