My first was about 3 1/2 years old My second was 11 months old

You'll be lucky to find a dentist who will see your little one. I got lucky & the dentist that I go to said that they would take my little boy on as well.

I asked my dentist about the same thing and she said after 1 y/o or until they know how to open and close when asked.

We were told when they get their first tooth or at a year, if they don't have any teeth yet. I found though when we went at 9 months the appointment was more for the parents than the child, so they know to start brushing regularly and how to take care of them.

Took my baby at 6mo

We took our little girl at around 9 months old when she had started getting her first teeth coming through. They didn't look at her teeth at the appointment, it was more to get her used to the dentist and watch us get our teeth looked at, and now when we go every 6 months she'll come with us to get more used to it :) x

@Rachel my dentist wants him to have an appointment SOOOO bad. He begged me to bring him in sooner, but I know there's not a point in going before this first tooth

@KC, that's good then. My little boy has been at the dentist when I have been there but has not had an actual appointment yet. He is nearly 3.

My dentists won’t see my daughter until she’s 2 (she has 16 teeth)
