How many scans has everyone had?

Realise everyone is different but just wondering. I’m classed as high risk and have three scans in for Feb. Realise it is Good they’re being careful but all the extra ones are worrying me. Has anyone had one with a consultant? One of mine says it is with a consultant but hasn’t explained why or anything more then that. Thank you

Hiya, I’m also classed as high risk - MoDi twins (as standard with risk of TTTS / sIGUR etc.), I’m also over 35 and high risk for pre-eclampsia. Week 16 onwards I’ll be having scans minimum every 2 weeks. The next scan I have (at 16 weeks) is with the consultant (I think) for the first time - I assume this is to assess the possible current risks and to talk through the possibilities for the months ahead and treatments if needed so I can be prepared accordingly. To keep us informed as best as possible is my guess - but if someone who has experience can shed more light that would be great. Sorry to hear you are worrying, you are not alone.

I'm classed as high risk too so far I have had 4 scans and got another one on 31st jan I'm only 12wks 2days

It just them being careful and checking up on baby don't worry too much I have had 3 pregnancy's that are classed high risk and everything was fine they just like to double check everything they never seem to put why it's with a consultant but honestly it's nothing to worry about in my experience x

Are they definitely scans, or appointments with the consultant. I'm classed as high risk just because of my age. I have a few extra growth scans towards the end and a handful of extra appointments with a consultant.
