I'm classed as high risk too so far I have had 4 scans and got another one on 31st jan I'm only 12wks 2days
It just them being careful and checking up on baby don't worry too much I have had 3 pregnancy's that are classed high risk and everything was fine they just like to double check everything they never seem to put why it's with a consultant but honestly it's nothing to worry about in my experience x
Are they definitely scans, or appointments with the consultant. I'm classed as high risk just because of my age. I have a few extra growth scans towards the end and a handful of extra appointments with a consultant.
Hiya, I’m also classed as high risk - MoDi twins (as standard with risk of TTTS / sIGUR etc.), I’m also over 35 and high risk for pre-eclampsia. Week 16 onwards I’ll be having scans minimum every 2 weeks. The next scan I have (at 16 weeks) is with the consultant (I think) for the first time - I assume this is to assess the possible current risks and to talk through the possibilities for the months ahead and treatments if needed so I can be prepared accordingly. To keep us informed as best as possible is my guess - but if someone who has experience can shed more light that would be great. Sorry to hear you are worrying, you are not alone.
