Work and baby sickness
What do people do about work when their babies are home from nursery? Do people still work but at reduced capacity while they look after their little ones or do they take time off? My son has had a fever for 9 days now and luckily I’m still off for 2 days a week and the other 3 days I took it easy but he’s still unwell and I’m going into another week now where I have things I actually need to get done and I have no idea what to do.

You can try and use holidays, special leave or unpaid leave. If you have a flexible job you might be okay but I would need the day off personally
I've been using my holiday entitlement, it's not really ideal but we don't have any other option as my husband is self employed. My mum can sometimes help but she's self employed too x

My work says to take it off sick using my sick days, just ask your manager and see what they say. It’s super common ☺️
