Toddler ignoring baby brother
My 1 year and 9 month old has completely ignored his newborn brother. He does not look at him or give any attention. I want them to bond what do i do?

Thank you, i think my 21 month old dont understand yet i’m sure hes aware theres a baby but whatever we do he doesnt interact. Also when we hold baby or change him, he wants our hand and walk away with him 🤷🏻♀️
My babies have a similar age gap...my april 2023 toddler continues to ignore her sibling and only just started looking at her some weeks ago but has never had any interest..not even jealousy when i hold the newborn

Hi, I have my 21 month Old & 9 Month Old. So we let her Hold Bottle, Hold Him, Read Books to him. Something I found was that I made alot more attention to her and went extra on the praise when she helped and stroked him etc. It's a very tricky situation, I'm sure your toddler is just feeling a little confused. He will come around I am absolutely positive of it. My daughter and her 9 month old brother have a nice little bond now. But that didn't start until my son was more awake and smiling and laughing.
