Salt content

So I know if baby is having the same dinner as us, I’m not to put extra salt in but does this include stock cubes/pots too?

If they contain salt, yes. I'd also check if they have any "weird" additives.

Yes as they high in salt I believe

Thankyou ladies! 😊

If you are looking for any, Kallo sell stock cubes with no salt

They do sell low sodium stocks so we buy these

Also some salt isn't a big issue :) it's just being mindful of not over doing it

My almost 1 Yr old is rubbish at eating and quite picky, so we're just trying to feed him up and get him eating a bit more at the moment. Yes he is having a bit of crap, which probably contains a bit more sugar and salt than he should have, but I'm still trying him with veg and fruit etc.

I wouldn’t bother. The low salt ones taste like water and make the whole meal inedible for adults. The portion your LO would have and therefore the amount of salt in it would be minimal. I really wouldn’t worry!

We use stock in gravy and stew and our two year old eats it, everything in moderation

Never counted salt content for my kids. Oops😂

I just use low sodium ones x

I just use normal stock cubes, as for the portion your baby actually has its minimal ones! The law salt ones taste like shit, ain't worth it

All saltbfrom anywhere
