Constipation

Help yall. My babygirl is 9 weeks old and only pooping once a week 😩 and when she does she’s screaming because it’s hurting her. She’s not breastfed, she’s on formula (similac 360). We do use the bottle breeza. But we did our measurements yesterday to make sure she’s getting adequate formula compared to milk (it was) so I know it’s not the machine. Ped said it’s normal to poop every 4 days or so but I’m not feeling it. I need some tips so make my sweet girl poop daily. Or at least every other day.

If she’s in pain then you might need to switch formulas. You can also try probiotic drops.

Gripe water , get her a second opinion doctor just to rule out she doesn’t have any stomach problems but breastfed baby go without like that. Formula may need to be changed due to baby not getting enough fiber

Might need to switch formulas.

Breastfed babies that young can go a week without pooping and it is normal (according to our pediatrician at the time). I don't know about formula fed babies. What would concern me is the pain they are experiencing. I second getting another opinion. Could also be gas? Good luck!

My son had really bad constipation when he was younger and his doctor prescribed miralax that I mixed in his bottles daily. It helped a lot. I’d get an appointment set up or see a different doc if they aren’t taking your concerns serious
