I took it throughout my second pregnancy and at the start of postpartum. I only switched meds because I had really bad PPD/PPA and I was maxed on the dose.

@Tosha no side effects ? X

None at all. With my first, I came off them for my first trimester and went back on them from 20+ weeks - she was born with some slight withdrawal symptoms. My second I took the whole pregnancy and she was born without any withdrawal symptoms. I talked with my OB, my primary doc, and a MFM and they all said it was worse for me to struggle through pregnancy unmedicated than to continue taking it.

@Tosha yeah I feel that, I’m only 4 weeks and two days but I am feeling the effects also the dr has petrified me saying it can cause heart and lung defects x

Is it your primary doc or your OB? I ask because while there is some slightly increased risk, I was told it was riskier to have me off them. Maybe seek a second opinion? Both of my kids have perfect heart and lungs, and I even got the first strand of COVID when I was pregnant the first time. I would talk through different options with your medical team, but it's definitely not good to be entirely off mental health meds if you're already struggling. Sending you lots of love. 🩷

@Tosha thank you my love I am at the hospital on 4th I will chat to them about it then ❤️
