Falling off the bed

My 9 month old fell off our bed at 7am this morning she was asleep with her dad so I didn’t see the fall. She’s been a bit off it since Friday anyway and been more moany then normal. She was fine cried when she fell, hasnt got no bruising or swelling. But I can’t help but worry I should have phoned 111 or taken her to A&E when it happend. It’s now been over 12 hours and apart from crying a bit more than normal but she’s been like that since Friday. Isn’t showing any other symptoms of anything should I have phoned 111?

I’d fone 111 to be safe … is the bed really high?Could be in pain always listen to your gut.

@Mum2zs she’s not crying anymore then usual. Or showing any symptoms x

My girl also fell off the bed the other day! I still feel terrible! She cried a little but was fine. Go with your gut xx

Every child will fall of the bed at some point. I'd say just watch out for sickness, and sleeping straight after the fall. Otherwise I'm sure she will be fine. If you co sleep invest in a bed rail x

My son fell off the bed when he was 6 months, happened fast, he immediately cried and seemed to settle down after a few minutes. He was really fussy the next day and would scream any time we changed him. Took him to the ER- he had a broken femur. Always best to air in the side of caution, don’t be too hard on yourself either- shit happens.

I’m sorry that your baby got hurt, I understand the feeling my baby shut up from my arms sleeping at 4 am when she was 3 months old and then at 6 months she fell again, literally it’s very exhausting when she doesn’t sleep and wakes up every 30- 40 minutes at night and they give 1-2-3-4 am and she doesn’t sleep I fell asleep holding her and she falls out of my arms again because I fell asleep, it’s not easy it was just the blow she acted normal but I feel very bad and guilty.
