Yes, it’s just to absolutely make sure baby is okay🥰 they don’t really tend to do it earlier in the pregnancy but closer to due date, they may do additional checks. I’ve personally not had it when i’ve been in for checks for reduced movements, as baby was earlier on and also piped up on the CTG so they felt it was all okay. ❤️
Have you been in before? I believe if you go twice they’ve got to then scan you x
Completely normal it’s just to make sure there’s nothing else going on with baby, blood flow and fluid etc I’ve had 2/3 as constantly worried about babies movements 🤦♀️
This was my first time in for reduced movements. Midwife done my fundal and i’ve just checked the badger app baby has went from 90th percentile to 97th percentile measuring 3 weeks ahead now. I desperately want a water birth so I hope they don’t suggest an induction 😢
Yeah it’s normal It’s to make sure everything is okay with baby They check fluid around baby and cord to make sure there’s nothing wrong with it I’ve had these scans a few times for reduced movements xx
