It’s just like a daily multivitamin with folic acid so it’s really up to you
I finished them Pp while I was BF and then jumped to normal women’s multis. I have never not taken a multi of some sort.
I finished what I had and then switched to postnatals
I did prenatals during pregnancy and switched to a breastfeeding focused vitamin once I gave birth.
I also switched to a postnatal vitamin once my prenatal ran out
I still take them cause they help with hair and nails
I take them all the time! Had my baby 6m ago and I am one and done. They’re great multivitamins and amazing for hair and nails etc. Much cheaper than normal women vitamins. No harm keep taking them 🙂
Prenatal multivitamins are almost the same as breastfeeding specific ones, so I just continued right through. I had about 6 weeks between stopping breastfeeding and falling pregnant with my second, then about 2 or 3 months between stopping breastfeeding my second and getting pregnant with my third, so I have been taking the prenatal vitamins constantly for the last 6 years 🙃
I was told by my primary and my OB to continue taking prenatals until menopause. They both said they tend to be higher in the vitamins women truly need, and often cost less.
I quit taking them for a week bc i ran out and had to wait for my check while breastfeeding....i felt like i was going to die. My heart started fluttering and skipping a beat, and i couldn't stay awake. So i would say if you breastfeed still take them
I was told by essentially all obs that I’ve had in the last 5 years and midwives to continue with my prenatals as Ive been either pregnant and or nursing since then but I don’t think there would be an issue if I continued to take if post nursing/ pregnancy
