Anbesol!!! Not the gel the liquid! They sell it in boots behind the counter and I know some pharmacies sell it too... It was the only thing that actually worked for my son, but it actually numbs it and believe me it works as you use your finger or cotton bud... I used to wash my hands then use my finger well once or twice I sucked my finger after (natural reaction) and omfg it numbed by tongue 😝🤣

Another vote for anbesol liquid!
It's expensive but lasts atleast 6 months as you don't use much!
Also nurofen usually works better than calpol for teething
I used cloves, it’s a natural numbing agent & it worked for my twins. They also loved the green onions & would chomp away
We are the same, nothing really works for our boy! The spring onions didn't work for us either. Have you tried Difflam? That sometimes gives us a short bit of relief.
I came to say Anbesol liquid, used it for all teething AND for blisters for hand foot and mouth and it’s amazing stuff!!!
I freeze them and let my kiddo bite on them they don't seem like the best alternative but he likes them
You can also make a washcloth knot and dip the knotted end of wash cloth in milk and freeze it and baby can suck on the knot side and feel relief
CELERY!!!!!
just keep watch so LO doesnt choke, but the coldness usually helps my baby’s itchy gums
Also celery!
Best hack. Rule out other possible things before going in for teething 👏🏼 so many things are mistaken for teething, its crazy! I think only time they are very uncomfortable is when molars are coming through. Its actually an interesting fact, that when babies are learning something new, that a lot of parents jump straight to teething. But, all I used was teething toys, alternating them from the fridge. I would definitely look into the possibility of a new skill happening 😊

@gabi sorry for late reply, thanks but i know its teething 😅 we now have 5 new teeth wow what adveture that was, hopefully the rest come one at a time
Can personally attest to the spring onion hack! She loved chomping on them straight out the fridge when she was teething.
