Benefits or Discounts for a Nursery Employee
Hi Mums,
my partner is working in a private nursery in Camden. Is there any of you who knows if he can get any benefits or vouchers to help with our baby?
Our baby it is not born yet but I am close to give birth so I was wondering if any of you is experiencing the same!

I used to work in a private nursery and I revcieve a 40% discount for my son whilst he was there on top of the government funded hours. I have heard through other friends who work in nurseries that not all nurseries are as generous. My friends nursery only give employers a 10% discount and their fees are very high (2,000p/m) for a full time baby.
He’d have to ask the nursery what the benefits are, as they differ.

My sons nursery does 45% discount for employees. All nurseries are different though so it depends on what the nursery he works at offer.

It will depend on the nursery itself. Some provide worker discounts, others don’t. You will however still be entitled to tax free childcare and funded hours which is worth looking into.
