How many bottles a day?

We have been on 3 bottles since 6 months. Drinking 9oz but since eating more food he’s starting to have less interest in his milk

My little ones nearly 10 months and for the past 6 weeks or so hasn’t really been interested in his milk. He used to have 5-6 bottles a day 7oz each with bedtime being 8oz but has dropped to 3 a day at 7oz and one during the night. His morning bottles will sometime only take 2-3oz so I mix the rest in with his weetabix. He’s also 3 meals a day and just seems to prefer solids to milk at the moment x

My 8 month is happily on x3 bottles a day. Drinks 7 to 8 ounces each time and loves his food. Has three meals a day. It’s absolutely fine for him to drop his bottles if he’s eating well up until he’s 12 months getting both milk and food.

Mines on 2 bottles at 9 months and has been since 8 months x

@Tayla the lady that runs the premature baby group I take him to weighed him and told me I needed to cut down on his milk. 3 bottles a day at 6oz and maybe one to play with during the day if needed and 3 meals. Since then it’s like he’s taken it personally and decided he no longer wants milk but loves his food! Sometimes even the lunch time bottle is a struggle so I just make sure he’s had lunch x

They say 600 ml a day for until 10 months then 10-12 months 400ml a day x

From 7 months it's usually 600ml a day of milk 3 7oz bottles is the "recommendation" (remember this is based off studies conducted on lots of babies and is the average amount of all combined feeds consumed during studies; some will take more some less) which comes to 630mls daily so 3-4 8-9oz bottles is perfectly fine don't intentionally reduce baby let them do it themselves so if they're happy having 3-4 8-9oz bottles a day that's absolutely fine! Also your little boy is absolutely adorable 😍

8.5 months here, big foodie and she’s having 3 8/9 ounce bottles a day. Though they aren’t necessarily finished depending on how filling the 3 solid meals were :)

My little girl has 3x 8oz bottles and 3 meals a day, she’s 9 months old next week and is still 91st percentile. She dropped her afternoon bottle about a month ago x

Yep my little one seems to barely have much milk now, last week the health visitor at weighing told me that they should have around 20 ounces a day with 3 meals, but they will never let themselves go hungry x

@YazmynJade thank you so much 🥹 and that’s all really reassuring thank you! We’re still offering him the same amount of bottles and milk, he sometimes finishes them but then like today so far he’s only done 9oz 😰 just worry that he’s not getting enough fluids or nutrition but he’s still really into his food! C
