@Charla I done these too and thought they had been successful as I felt big movements afterward but I think they just done a full somersault back to same place
Hiya, I did it and they managed to turn her but her heart rate dropped and she turned right back. So they actually advised that she was obviously happy and comfortable in that position. The experience was fine due to having great doctors.
I’ve heard stories of baby getting into the right position just before they go into labour. So there’s still time yet.. wish you all the best. I was wondering about ECV too and a few people said they are worth it and worked.
Thanks gals. I feel I need to at least try it and if they move back then I know they just want to be in that comfy place
I’ve just been booked in for an ecv on Thursday, she’s been breech the whole time and is now measuring 7th percentile in weight. I’m very nervous but the 3 consultants I saw told me I should try it as because of my age they weren’t happy going straight for a C-section?! X
Hoping you guys have good doctors I did and they did there best to let me go as long as I could hoping she would turn but she didn't. And has long as its safe. My C was booked my final week of pregnancy.
I had an ECV last weekend as I wanted to at least try. The doctors were amazing. I had 3 attempts. On the last one, the baby did turn but sadly spin back. I am glad I tried though as I would always wonder. It’s 0.5% chance of emergency c section afterwards and my baby was relaxed throughout. Good luck x
Someone else on another thread planned a c section for same reason and they scanned her and baby has moved head down now.. still time for these babies to get into position
My baby moved from breech to head down last week after doing exercises on spinning babies
