Yeah been doing it a few weeks, blending steamed vegetables and fruit, he also loves Greek yogurt
Yeah I’ve been doing it since my baby was 4 months she absolutely loves her food ☺️
Yes, started doing it when my daughter was about 19/20 weeks (she’s now 22wks). We try one puree a day. I’ve been doing a mix of Ella’s kitchen pouches, baby rice (mixed up using my breast milk), mashed banana, single veg purées (carrot, parsnip etc) and some watermelon in her fruit feeder (has little holes in a silicone teat that you pop into a holder). Personally I’ve found the book ‘weaning’ by Annabel karmel super helpful ☺️
yeah, my girl is 5 months and she enjoys the fruit pouches We’ve started her on baby porridge the last two weeks and she loves it, we give her it at night before her bath x
My little boy is 5 months started at 4 months with Ella’s kitchen I even made some home made purée with avocado , bananas and kendamil formula milk, he absolutely devoured it 😂 but he’s a fan of Ella’s kitchen.
Yeah we’ve started over the weekend. He’s still learning to swallow the food so at the moment it’s just tasting and we’re doing a bit of BLW to practice with his spoon for coordination.
I stared purées at about 4 and a half months and my baby girl loves them. We exclusively did pouches as I can’t seem to ever find time to do the purées myself. She’s 5 now and I think that this is how we will do it until she turns 6 months and then we will give baby led weening a try. I also just do it every day once a day usually after her first nap and before her second bottle. 🥰 Also she is very hungry as supposedly she should have about 2 teaspoons but she will not let me stop and she will have about 4 or 5 😅😳
My son loves Ella’s kitchen, Aldi brand and Piccolo pouches, started in December(4 months) he has a pouch everyday. Either for breakfast or lunch.
@Maria oh I might have to try this for my son, he’s not a fan of banana but I’ll try it
My daughter has just turned 5 months she isn't sitting up by herself just yet.. just seeing if other babies are sitting up now that they're starting on purees?
@Claire this is what I’m wondering too, my baby can’t pull herself up from the floor to sit up but she can sit steadily in her high chair which I think is ok (someone correct me if I’m wrong pls) x
Yes same she can sit unaided in a highchair alright
I tried the Ella's kitchen pouches when my little boy was 5 and a half months and he loved them!
