I bought an Artipoppe for my first and absolutely loved it so will be using it again. They’re pricey but I found it super comfortable to use, easy to put on and my son loved being in it an was very supported. Plus you can use it inward facing, outward and on your back. I was still using mine when my son was a toddler. I also loved the way it looked which I know isn’t super important but because I wore it so much it made me feel nicer.

I think my link might still work if you did decide to get an Artipoppe. It saves you about £50 I think. https://referral.shop.artipoppe.com/l/1CATHERINEM72/

@Catherine the link works I’ll have a look at these thanks! Yeah I don’t mind spending a bit more if it’s worth it! X

We’ve gone for a babybjorn move, I liked the back support as I struggle with back pain. No idea how baby will like it but hopefully it’s a good fit!

See if there's a sling library in your local area, that way you can try before you buy! We have the ergobaby 360 with newborn insert (admittedly didn't try any others!!). 😊 Also you can get most a good price second hand and they are generally washable.

we used the babybjorn mini with my first which i wouldn’t recommend, had awkward leg positioning and during a tesco trip my little one’s legs turned purple in a few minutes of walking around, never used it again after this. i’m thinking of going for a fabric one this time round but worry i won’t be able to tie it tight and baby falls😫

Got a BabyBjorn as heard good things from my friends x

Second the recommendation for a sling clinic if you can. There’s lots of good brands, but depending on your body shape some won’t be suitable for you. I’m quite petite and a couple I tried at the sling clinic were just far too big for me. I ended up with an Ergobaby 360 and also a fabric wrap for using in the newborn stage (great as it will adapt to any body shape, but does take a little bit of practice to learn how to use!)

We got a babybjorn one (not the mini!) off of Vinted after recommendations from friends, was £20 so if it doesn’t suit will sell it on and get something different

Thanks for all the advise! Never knew there was such thing as a sling clinic so I will definitely look in to this! X
