Gynecology appointment
Looking for information and advice please .. Had my baby in September and ended up with a 3rd degree perineal tear and stitches, my "follow up" appointment is on 5th Feb, has anyone else had a follow up so long after the fact? What do they look at/for etc? Is it worthwhile going to the appointment so late after having it done? Thanks 😀

I also had my baby in September and 3rd degree tear too. Had an appointment at 6 weeks and now waiting for Feb appointment because we'll be doing this ultrasound thingy so they can see if inside is also healed/healing. Defo go to see the progress of the healing

I had my baby in September and also had a third degree tear and stitches in had my follow up just before Christmas not sure if it would be the same appointment but I’m guessing it would be they use a speculum and have a root round then stuck a finger round the back to check the muscles aren’t damaged, it’s not nice but doesn’t hurt and took less than 5 minutes and i was discharged after it
