Silly rant 😅

Waking up needing a wee, you finally roll out of bed only to realise your scan is in 2 hours and you’re not sure you’ll be able to fill your bladder in time 😭 it’s the little things.

Just have a wee real quick and start drinking water! You only need to start drinking water 1 hour before normally so it should be completely fine!

True I was just nervous I wouldn’t be able to give a decent sample after. Can I just take one in from home I have spare sample tubes ?

At this stage you shouldnt need a full bladder for a scan 😅 i havent needed one since 28 weeks! ❤️❤️

@Kirsty I assumed baby is big enough but I guess they have a generic letter it always says full bladder and I’m a rule follower 😂😂

Don’t see the problem in that honestly unless they are very fussy on how they attain the sample. Doesn’t really make a difference

Also I’ve never had a full full bladder because when I need the toilet I need to go! And majority of the times I wud have been toilet like half an hour - 45 mins before my scan so I just start drinking as much as I can after 😂 never had a problem!

I never go with a full bladder anymore as the baby is plenty big enough now so you wee away! 😂😂😂

You don’t need a full bladder this far along, most times they prefer you to have an empty bladder so baby has more room to move for the scan

@Incognito fair doo’s 🤣 hopefully they tell you to go to the loo get be comfortable 🙏🏻

You do realise you can have a wee, put it in a sample and store it in the fridge until it’s time to leave for your appointment? You don’t need to fill your bladder to wee again in 2 hours.

Just so everyone can sleep well tonight I ended up just taking a sample of my wee and drinking more water but not to the point of very full bladder and it worked fine 😂😂

You don’t need a full bladder for a scan past 24 weeks or so I believe
