Schools 🏫

It’s not something I really want to think about but my little boy is turning three this November. What do I do and how do I go about applying for a school nursery for him. I’ve never done it before so im oblivious

I haven’t either but I believe that you just go on the website of those around you, make sure you are in their catchment area, see when they have open days and apply when it says you should.

I’m not sure how things work in the UK but I would see if your city has a website about schools, or you can walk into any school you see and ask, maybe go to the library and ask a librarian.

So nursery is another word for daycare /preschool. OP , what I would suggest is looking up local ones in your area and calling to ask if they have openings. Websites for daycare/preschool ( nursery on your side of the pond) will usually have an FAQ section!

Thank you everyone I’ll have a look online and I’ll phone a few up. He is currently in a private day nursery but I’m wanting something closer to home and for him to be in a more structured school environment to get him ready for school
