Hitting, scratching, hair pulling, biting

My 9 month old will sometimes slap/grab my face and pull my hair& bite. I don’t think she does it intentionally to hurt me but how do I stop this behaviour?

Following! My 9 month old is doing the same thing. I try to give her a firm no which sometimes works but majority of the time doesn’t

Lip pulling, chin sucking, appended eye gauging... I feel like I'm in a war some days 😂 I thinks it's mostly developmental and they're exploring other people's faces. When it gets too much I put her on the floor and tell her she's not allowed to play with my face like that coz it hurts and she won't get cuddles if she keeps doing it. She soon goes to play with her toys instead

Yeah the hair pulling really gets me, like come on most of it is already falling out

glad I’m not alone🤣

@Drew 😂 1000%

She likes my hair the most; I don't make a big deal, I say no firm or no sound at all, just remove my hair from her adorable mitts and give her something else to play with. She doesn't mean it. Our babies just want to be close to us and are learning every day. If they were a lot older and still doing this, then that would be a problem.

Mine does this. I stop her when it hurts and tell her no and redirect

My girl scratch/hit me in the nose hard enough to give a minor nosebleed today! My face is always getting pulled and poked and my glasses are snatched 20+ times a day 😭

@Suchi we are all getting bullied 🤣! Can defo relate to the glasses 👓

@Suchi and then being pocked in the eye with your own glasses 😭 there's always slobber ok my glasses from either the dog or my little girl

@Ebony haha I sarcastically say to her thank you for cleaning my glasses. Didn't know they needed a clean

@Incognito is this what child line is for?
